    New Mevo+ Excited!

You all don't know it, but you have been a tremendous help.......thank you!!!
I'd been exploring the idea of a home simulator, but taking my time researching options, issues, things to think about, etc. So although I never posted anything, I read numerous threads and your comments throughout these forums. All of that was an invaluable resource to me.
The result - I ended up going with the Mevo+. I have all of my supplies to build the simulator, but have not yet started that build. However, I did get the unit all set up and took it out to the range over the weekend to test it, get accustomed to it, etc. It was very cool and I'm really excited to keep things moving forward!
I estimate around 20% of my shots didn't register at all. But being the first time I used the unit, I'm chalking that up to user-error. Usually if it missed one, the next one would get picked up. I did have a few instances where I had 3 in a row that didn't register. All I'd do is touch the status on the phone to take it from "ready" to "connected," then it would automatically go back to "ready" after a few seconds. When that happened, it would then pick up the next shot just fine. I did verify each time it was in ready status (hadn't gone to sleep, etc). So I will keep working with the unit and learning.
Just wanted to say thanks for all of the information you didn't know you were providing this newbie and I look forward to a more active interaction on the forums moving forward.
    Happy golfing!

Congrats on your purchase! It's a great little unit alright.

That's very unusual to have that many shots not get registered. I've had mine now for nearly 4 weeks, hit few hundred balls and every single full swing shot registered without fail. (I've had couple of chips that didn't initially, but then I found I was too close to the unit. Once I chipped from 8 feet away, even very short chips now register just fine) BTW, I recommend you to completely turn off the power management so it never goes to sleep.

Yes when i got mine it missed a lot of shots. The power management should be turned off. It would go to sleep like after 30 seconds. Try that. Congrats
