  • Mevo+ Radar Error only when using iOS Apps

I've searched Google and this forum and been unable to find any threads discussing this topic. I've reached out to Flightscope and am waiting to hear back, but I was hoping someone on here had seen this issue before.

Whenever I connect my Mevo+ to by iPhone Xr, and begin one of the iOS apps (FS Skills, FS Golf or E6Connect) the Mevo's radar status indicator light turns from green to orange and stops picking up shots. Strangely, when I disengage the app (either close the app or switch to another non-FS app) the radar status indicator light turns green again. The app itself tells me that the Mevo is connected and I'm prompted with the "ready" voice from the app. However, when I hit a shot it will not pick it up.

To be more specific, this happened after my first use of my new Mevo+. After about 30 shots read perfectly on FS Skills, the problem started. I can restart the Mevo and get 1-2 shots read before it happens again.

    Info:
All firmware was updated as prompted during installation. Both the phone and Mevo+ are fully charged.
9ft from radar to ball, 8ft from ball to net, all apps are set to short indoor mode
No electronics between radar and net other than my phone and a single incandescent light.
Inside garage setup, there is some metal stuff like a vent, the garage door motor and framing
The error occurs with all three apps - FS Golf, FS Skills and E6Connect

    Troubleshooting:
I turned off all lights in the garage and went off daylight with the garage door open to see if something electronic was interfering, no change
I restarted the Mevo+ a few times. I get usually one read shot and then the issue starts again. Usually the radar status light will turn orange immediately, but the first shot will get picked up and then no more shots after that until I restart the Mevo
I tried a handful of different balls (all with stickers facing the target) and clubs with no difference

Has anyone experienced or heard of something like this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Usually when the m+ isn't picking up on something it's because connected to too many things (computer, phone, E6 App). Make sure no other apps are using input from m+
