    Mevo+ Setup

    Hello all,

I just got a Memo + and I'm curious to know for someone who doesn't have a simulator, but does hit into a backyard net with a driving range 5x5 mat how much tinkering you all do each time.

-Do you make sure its EXACTLY the correct distance beyond the ball each time?
-Do you realign the camera to the ball and target each session?

    Same for putting
-Does the monitor need to be dead nuts on the target line thru the ball each time for accurate results?

Just curious about setup each time when there isn't a set exact location for the monitor each time.

I guess this would apply to using the unit outdoor at a range. Are we really taking a tape measure -8/9 ft beyond the ball, etc

    TIA

Will be interesting to get feedback from everyone. I measure everything out every time and realign every session. Technically I don't think you have to but for accuracy of H launch, AoA in particular I think it is important to do. I personally have never heard what Flightscope says about the tolerances for getting the best data possible so I try and mark a spot and hit from that spot every time. I do not putt with the M+.

      Jonathan,
I have a designated backyard set up. The paver stone the mevo+ sits on has marks for basic alignment. Once it’s powered up I use the onboard camera and align along the white stripe of my putting mat. This takes no time at all to get a proper setup. Here is a picture.

It's so quick to do, I just do it every time I set it up.
