Buying a used mevo plus - considerations

I’m seriously considering selling my SkyTrak to get a memo plus. I think I have the room (20x20 garage with 9.5’ ceilings. I think I can get around the interference from the fridge etc.) and I’m really interested in the pro package data and non subscription model for e6 access.
when buying a used unit, what do I need to inspect / check for so I don’t get taken? I’m pretty sure the e6 included license can’t be transferred (5 courses etc) so the user account and pwd have to be given to me. But what else do I need to think about?

Just bought a used one today so following
I tested it pretty thoroughly at seller's house and it was working great. Having connectivity issues with my iphone at home so far. Seems to be a somewhat common problem that I'm still researching. When it is connecting it seems to be working well and picking up all my shots so far.

How did you deal with getting access to the free e6 course range access?

I'm planning to use with primarily with PC so wasn't worried about it. I think the previous owner would have had to share his user and pwd? Just got it hooked up with PC and not having any connection issues there so far. Downloaded PC E6 demo and liking that so far.
