Short Chipping Mevo Plus

I was wondering if anyone has any tips for really short chipping, if I get short sided and have a 5 or 6 yard chip mevo plus just don't want to read?

Hi,
Since i have updated the firware with fusion tracking, it reads much better the putts and the chips.
It has read incredibly well a monster chunk at 45 degree and 2 inches height ...
Just a tip did you chip closer to the mevo+ and with the simulator position (12 degree i think) ?
I chip at the same position i putt (2,13m or 7 feets instead of 8).

Yeah I have tried 7 ft and 8 ft, but I do agree about the putting it has got better its just the chipping I have a issue with

I agree. Short chips do not register well. Putting has improved but the putting speed is off.

Putting speed was random with e6 but I don’t know if it was due to the algorithm that take in account the hardness of the green.
I wait the next version of FS golf with putting to see, if somebody knows how far the putting is tracked.

Has anyone noticed if the sticker dot is marking the screen? I have a carls place screen / hitting net their top of the line and ball marks all over it. I’ve stoped using the dot to see if it makes a difference. Anyone else experience this ?

I have a SQ screen from Par2Pro. I've been using a dot the past year and have not noticed any marks on the screen.

I have a SQ Raw screen from Par2Pro and also no marks from dots after 6 months.

It's scuffs (burn marks) as they call them. I have the same issues and inquired a few years back when it first started happening.
Basically the back spin burns the screen leaving a grayish mark. At first I was pretty annoyed but you get used to it unless you're watching a movie I guess. If I did it again I wouldn't go with a Carls screen for this reason, it seems no other screen has this issue.

What distances are you looking at? I have my unit 7.5' from ball, 10' ball to screen, 12.4° tilt and can register 5y chips, though I haven't tried to go any shorter.

Didn't manage to get to the sim last night, kid-related nonsense, but I'll try to get some shots posted today. In the middle of baking a third kid so there's a lot of chaos at the moment since the other two are both under 3.

I tried a few chips tonight with PW, 52 and 56 and the closest read I could get was 5.3y carry in FS Golf after the update. Anything less and I mostly get no-reads, both in normal and slow swing radar modes. This could partly be attributed to relatively poor basement lighting prohibiting fusion tracking because it's too cold in the garage to use the monitor today.

I accidentally left the cheap iPad Pro in the garage during our -30 cold snap so I'm without E6 at the moment. Reasonably certain it's the digitiser because everything works except I can't register any touch commands. I'll ask around and see if anyone has a compatible iPad model to bind and try it greenside.

Did you activate it or is it interpolled by TGC ?
Since E6 doesn't work i wonder to buy TGC 2019

Are you guys using the dit with chips and/or putts? How far from the unit? 8 feet? 5 feet?

I always use the dot or RCT since I don't putt and I don't move my setup. Ball is always 7.5' from the unit.
