I tried the putting module of the updated FS Golf app (iOS) with good results. Used an Odyssey mallet putter.
Putted from two spots, ca. 4 feet from the radar and ca. 5 feet from the radar. Did not see a difference, 5 feet is the best for my setup.
Tilt 12.1, roll 0.3.
Got steady reads for launch speeds down to 2.0 mph which with a 10’ radar stimp setting resulted in a little over 2 feet of total putt length. That’s easily good enough since I mostly play with 5 feet gimmies and therefore do not putt any putts shorter than that 5 feet in the sim.
Could not get a single read under 2.0 mph so perhaps that’s the ball speed lower limit of the Mevo+ for putting?
The only problem I noticed was that if I had wifi networks in ”connect automatically” in the iPad, the radar would get stuck in the blue ”Connected” mode but would not arm, even though the iPad showed it was connected to the radar’s wifi. When I turned this setting off for all wifis except the Mevo+ one, the problems disappeared and the radar armed normally (changing to the green ”Ready” mode) after every putt.
I also noticed that my putting mat has a stimp higher than a glass table. Even using the highest radar stimp setting of 15’ resulted in putts rolling much farther on the mat than in the app calculation 😳😁
