Replacement charger for Mevo+

Over the winter I seem to have tidied things up and I now cannot find the charger for my mevo+. I seem to recall Flightscope saying you should not use any other charger as it could damage the unit, though I am fairly skeptical of this, it seems best to not take chances. However I cannot find an official charger anywhere even on their website.

Has anyone used an aftermarket USB charger, or know where an "official" one can be purchased?

The charger I got with my mevo+ died and I am using one that I had in the house, been using it for probably 6 months with no issues. If I remember correctly it’s the cable that came with the mevo+ that must always be used. The adapter I am using is an Apple iPad charger. See if you have anything that matches the specs on the mevo+ charger if someone can post them here or if you can get them from Flightscope

Well, I can't find the cable either so... I'm even more baffled at why it would be so sensitive to the USB cable used.

Length of the conductor affects the resistance and voltage drop. The Raspberry Pi circuit board they used seems to be pretty sensitive to fluctuations.

Which is 6' long... So apparently the length isn't entirely the issue.

Wire gauge, conductor material, shielding and a bunch of other factors affect things as well.

I prefer the usb type this way I can plug into a battery pack while set up outdoors, but for 10 bucks how could you go wrong.
