Tour Xi short indoor setup question

    Hey,
I have setup an outdoor simulator setup (no room inside in LA) on my roof. I have a net setup and have it set to short indoor. My reading are not what I expect. I have about 11 to 12 ft from mat to net front (I don't have an impact screen just black netting for ball to go into). I then have about 9 ft mat to flightscope.

I am waiting on a 5x5 mat so just have a small mat that does not hold still so have to readjust every few shots.

Does the lack of a good mat account for loss of distance as well as soon lower than expected heights (I would expect my 5 iron to go 190 to 195. Or do I also need an impact screen as the net messing up some of the readings?

    Thanks for the advice!

That carry looks about right for the swing speed it measured.

Ya. I think you are correct. I was afraid to swing full. Just went up and did full swings without holding back and seemed good now. Taking me some time to be confident with my setup.

The first few times you send a ball into a net or screen around personal property (especially indoors) is always a bit harrowing. It definitely gets easier with experience.
