  • Mevo+ Randomly Shuts Off and Won’t Arm

    Hey All,

    Having a real struggle here with my Mevo+.

    1.) It spontaneously shuts off if it is not connected to a power source. It has to ALWAYS be plugged in to a power source. However, one thing I noticed is that this happens only when it’s actively being used. I once left it on and connected to my iPad and it stayed on for the entire life of the battery.

    2.) I am still having the common issue where it will randomly stop arming, iPad says connected to Wi-Fi but the FS Golf app shows disconnected. This is infuriating.

    I can tolerate the power off issue as I have a power bank to keep it constantly plugged in but how are you guys handling the disconnect and arming issue? I cannot find any history on what others have done to resolve this.

    Is this thing overheating? I take it out on the range, it’s 80 degrees out and the Mevo+ is in direct light since we don’t have a covered range. I’m barely getting in 10 shots before it completely stops and Needs to be power cycled. I really want to get the pro package but not if this is going to be a paperweight.

    I have had none of these issues in a year of ownership, sorry.

    Have you asked in the Facebook user and Flightscope groups as well?
