  • Mevo+ or Wait for Uneekor Eye Mini

New here and coming from a Garmin R10. Wanting a primarily inside system that can allow me to work on my game and help family and friends with theirs. Had been waiting for Uneekor Eye Mini, but am strongly considering Mevo+ with the pro package as this sounds perfect for my needs. Will be settting up in an unfinished basement with plenty of space and hitting into a net.

Given all of this above, do you all recommend the Mevo+ for my situation? Or would you recommend waiting for the Eye Mini or some other camera based unit?

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts!

The spin on the mini will almost certainly be more accurate but I'd wait until it drops and we know everything about it before making a decision. Sounds like you still have the R10 in the meantime so it's not as though you're going to be idle.

How much ball flight will you have? 10 feet would be minimum for okay spin readings, but if you have 15+ feet of ball flight, then the Mevo+ would certainly perform at its best and would be a great choice that you can get right now, while being much cheaper than Eye Mini or GC3. It would be a huge upgrade from the R10 that's for sure.

In saying that, while I am a Mevo+ user, I'm waiting for the Eye Mini to get the impact photo view (club optix), more consistent spin readings (I only have 10 feet ball flight), and more accurate chipping & putting in sim golf (putting sux with Mevo+). Obviously it being supposedly much cheaper than GC3 is a big reason also.

Given price vs performance, I decided on the Mevo +. Gonna be setting it up in the next few days.
