  • misfire after Pro package update?

    Finally gave in to upgrade to the pro package. Since doing so my carry distance across the board fell off by 20 yds. Yet there were no changes to my ball speed, club speed, spin or any other data point for any club.

    I know my carry quite well since I laser distances on course and have been very consistent for the last 3 years. At most I would only be off 2 or 3 yds to account for roll on greens. Checked ball speed/club speeds against common references and all back up what I see on course. I moved my mevo to long indoor mode with 13 ft of flight, 8ft to mevo+ and the Titleist rct ball (which ironically gives more misreads) and dots, but nothing changes. I also updated to the latest firmware and live 300 ft above sea level so no crazy distance add vs on course there. Also no changes to my sim room after updating (interference)

    Doubt it's indoor swing syndrome based on accurate numbers before upgrade and plenty ceiling height.

    Anyone else see this at first and change a setting to resolve the issue?

    I would check your past data and make sure you didn’t have the range ball setting selected. They adjust the algorithm to account for limited flight (range) balls at some driving ranges. I know I get drastically different carry distance switching between the range ball and normal ball on my Mevo.

    Just so we are on the same page you are using short indoor mode correct? Long indoor is for 40 feet of flight.

    Also on your past and present data captures are you seeing italicized numbers for spin or any other metric?

      I was not using range ball. In fact since I upgraded that doesn't do anything to change data output, but that is for another day. I use indoor not long or short, so my mistake on putting wrong mode. Spin in before and after update is properly read. I have never seen italics on other metrics, seems it either records or doesn't instead of italicizing.

        Ok maybe give us a screen shot of you table data past and present and let’s see if we notice anything?

        I would definitely contact Flightscope. You can also send them data and they can look into any issues remotely.

          guess what, i didnt upgrade and i lost 12 to 18 yards myself, i belive it the mevo software, ever since i did the new firmware i lost yardage, i believe its a common problem buut people are are figuring it out, and trust me i know my yardage
