X2 still worth it?

I have the opportunity to buy a used X2 for about $1400-1500

Plan would be to use it indoors on short mode ...have 17ft to play with and mainly for practice with some minimum sim play.

I understand it's out of production now with little support...is it worth picking up?

If you have 17 feet of ball flight the X2 will perform well enough. If you have less than 10 feet of ball flight the X2 will start to struggle with spin readings. The X2 excels outside where it can track the full flight of the ball but if you're primarily using it indoors I would suggest spending more on a used GC2, and if you can't do that go with a SkyTrak. Even minimum sim play on the X2 is not a good user experience as it won't pick up short chip shots or putts. I own a GC2 and Xi Tour which is the same radar tech as the X2 and for indoor use, I'd pick the GC2 every time.
