Sorry, but I need your help. I‘m not sure, that I have understood the business model of the „Swing Catalyst Home Edition Golf Swing Analyzer“. Flightscope offer the software for 199$ - but they call it „Swing Catalyst Home Edition - Annual Subscription Plan“. Does it mean, that I have to buy it every year again? Or with other words, to pay for it every year? Thank you for your answer.

Yes that’s correct you will have a license that needs to be renewed every year.

Thank you for answering. I would be interested in a monthly license or in buying it. One year for 199$ is in my point of view not a good deal if you are a private user.

You can purchase a home license directly from Swing Catalyst but it will not integrate with Flightscope. Meaning you will need a microphone as the trigger for recording. It also means you will not get data from the Mevo+ within Swing Catalyst.

As far as the cost it’s cheaper than a monthly plan added up for 12 months plus you get integration. I can see both sides though. During the summer months I would rarely use it being outside at the range.

Thank you for your advice. I visited the website of the company. However, in my point of view I would be happy with an additional monthly option by Flightscope. I would pay 30$ to 40$ for it, because it is as you said: during the summer I will rarely need it. I think about it and finally - I know myself, I will try the annual model, just because I want to test it. Next problem than will be the cameras. They wont be cheap. But if you want get a benefit from the software, you need clear pictures.
