  • Flightscope PC App

PC app is out. Testing the PC app now and it looks great so far. The PC app accepts USB cameras which is great for high speed video recording. It looks like the frame rates are capped at 60 fps. Layout is ok but range view doesn't seem to have all the tiles like the iOS app. Maybe I am missing it. Anybody else get this going?

Did you get an email for it?

Can you run data on one screen and flight on another?

You can download it on the firmware page on their site. If you have the pro package, all you need to do is login to the app and it will be activated.

you can’t run run flight and data on different monitors but they allow you to run multiple views split up on one monitor. Big miss imo.

I don’t think you can data tiles overlayed like the iOS app. The data margins don’t seem to be available either.

its pretty easy to connect multiple iOS cameras using the multicam app. Looks like you don’t have to connect to the Mevo Wi-Fi either. You just connect to the same Wi-Fi your PC is on and open the fs multicam app and then they pop up. The 4 box with two cameras, data and flight is a pretty cool setup. But I wish you could have the flight on one monitor and the the others on a second monitor.

i think with a little time and updates, you should be able to move stuff...this is a phenomenal start

          --Here's my Mevo+ wishlist--

          - Sending in your unit to get your Mevo+ camera upgraded to a higher resolution and higher frame rate
          - 0° Spin Axis Issue fixed
          - Driver Spin issue fixed
          - FS Golf and FS Skills migration
          - Outdoor Target Lock (Using the overhead map view, easily identify your driving range targets...not everyone hits at the same flag for a whole session, this allows you to change without moving the unit)
          - ***Add a moveable green with hole to FS Golf range***
          - Bag Mapping (See all the clubs in each players bag and their averages, not just that session)
          - Camera add on for face and spin accuracy (place a camera close to the impact zone and have it sync up to the FS Golf app

            @JY - what's the driver spin issue?

I also agree, though, for version one, the PC version is a pretty good start.

I know righ? This a big pet peeve of mine: Why design something that breaks Windows design convention just to look cool or to make it "accessible". The ipad design style. It's like it's design for kids. Ease of use shouldn't mean you need to cut out basic functionality...</rant>

Yeah I had to temporarily assign my projector as my primary display.

Anybody else getting the pop up to adjust the radar all the time? It's popping up like every shot for me

Yes, intermittently, I it displayed my tilt as 12.2 and roll -0.1, well withing range. Getting "Sample downloading failed!" also.

arwin - I was getting that initially. Then I swapped my wifi connection to the Mevo from my USB adapter to my internal wifi. I use the USB adapter to connect to my home Internet now. That fixed it

You can't use a USB dongle to connect to the PC software with Mevo+. The instructions specifically state this.

golfinstp - Thanks. I'm using my usb wifi adapter as well. I'll try to switch to my internal one

Windows Key-Shift-Left Arrow (or right arrow) will move it.

I’ve got running face impact with the PC FSGolf, that’s great to have a split screen with general view, ball strike video, face impact and datas.
the only issue at the moment is how difficult or almost impossible to calibrate with hybrids and woods. A doc and maybe an update is needed, for example I can’t set the dimensions of the following clubs because the software limits the min and max width and height (by the way it forces predefined inches values and not let us use metric system with free values): Ping G425 hybrid, Callaway Mavrik max 5 Wood, all my Titleist vokey SM9 wdges. This is very mainstream I don’t understand. With bad widhtxheigth values it is very difficult to correct the impacts on screen to finish the calibration.
if somebody can share tricks to calibrate correctly in PC FSGolf I will be pleased

I can’t get the face impact to be activated. Waiting for developers to get it sorted. PC app seems a bit buggy. Constantly checking the tilt and toll. It seems like the units tilt location had changed. It feels like 12 degrees is with the kickstand all out. Weird!
