PC app is out. Testing the PC app now and it looks great so far. The PC app accepts USB cameras which is great for high speed video recording. It looks like the frame rates are capped at 60 fps. Layout is ok but range view doesn't seem to have all the tiles like the iOS app. Maybe I am missing it. Anybody else get this going?

it works for me in wifi, for the light, yes I have the issue sometimes and I played outdoor in a relatively sunny day.Originally posted by Bubba22 View PostI can’t get the face impact to be activated. Waiting for developers to get it sorted. PC app seems a bit buggy. Constantly checking the tilt and toll. It seems like the units tilt location had changed. It feels like 12 degrees is with the kickstand all out. Weird!
when activated you can use your iPhone or iPad both work, I tested.

I ran the android version on Windows Subsystem for Android for a while, so I am happy to see this GA release of the software build for Windows! But before I do...
I can't find any information on setup and config for PC version of FS Golf to Mevo +. A little clarification please...
I downloaded the FS Golf software and was able to connect my Lenovo Gaming laptop to the Mevo+ WiFi. The laptop is connected to my network via hardwire ethernet Cat5 connection. I am able to access FS Golf PC setting panel where I can align Mevo+, including access primary Mevo+ Camera, and adjust radar settings etc....
Everything appears fine at this point. I just haven't sprung for the Activation code which enables access to the Sessions. I connected with Customer Service and Sales at Flight Scope to ensure my Win 11 and NVIDIA GeForce 1650 Graphics card would be sufficient for the PC Software. I am still waiting to hear, but it is working at this point. All other Tech specs are met.
This issue with the dongle has me confused. Are you using the dongle for connecting the PC to the Network or other devices (projection, cameras)?
I think I am fine at this point - just looking for some insights from you all who have been down this road already. Flight Scope has an "all sales are final" policy and I don't want to throw away $100!
ThanksLast edited by JJG; 02-16-2023, 08:59 PM.

I assume most users are connecting to a home WiFi network which presents a problem if you have to also connect to the Mevo +. You should connect to the Mevo+ using the onboard WiFi and use a dongle to connect to any other network. You don’t have that issue since you’re using Ethernet.

I’m confused is that link different from the one I downloaded last week. I’ll wait just wondering if they attempted an update. So there is another update coming?Last edited by preludesam; 02-22-2023, 09:55 PM.

New version is 20.1.0
It is not good for Face impact as it has to many bugs. They are quickly trying to release another one. My unit worked fantastic with the previous version but now it's no good. IOS app works perfect for face impact so I hope they don't screw that one up as wellLast edited by Bubba22; 02-23-2023, 01:36 AM.

What's your lighting setup? I get the message that advanced fusion isn't available due to insufficient light. Seems plenty bright in my garage, but I guess not.Originally posted by Targuy View PostI’ve got running face impact with the PC FSGolf, that’s great to have a split screen with general view, ball strike video, face impact and datas.
the only issue at the moment is how difficult or almost impossible to calibrate with hybrids and woods. A doc and maybe an update is needed, for example I can’t set the dimensions of the following clubs because the software limits the min and max width and height (by the way it forces predefined inches values and not let us use metric system with free values): Ping G425 hybrid, Callaway Mavrik max 5 Wood, all my Titleist vokey SM9 wdges. This is very mainstream I don’t understand. With bad widhtxheigth values it is very difficult to correct the impacts on screen to finish the calibration.
if somebody can share tricks to calibrate correctly in PC FSGolf I will be pleased

I have experienced this as well. When using the app on an iPad I get perfect readings and no error messages regarding the lighting requirements. When using the PC software 1 out of 10 it tells me insufficient lighting.

Yeah. I knew there was something different when I first noticed the radar camera view was zoomed in and very pale looking.. I believe they are starting to hack the camera module drivers to use it in a fast-capture mode which allows it to capture at faster than rated frame rate. although not officially supported by module, It's been proven to work but it will force them to use a much lower resolution and it will require a LOT more light to expose properly. It's a bit of a juggling act. As I don't care for face impact feature (until it's priced more reasonably anyways), I do appreciate they have a toggle to allow me to just use the old behaviour without all this lighting complication. As long as it doesn't affect my PP club data precision...

I'm using 2 Kayeton cameras. 120 fps set at 60.

The new PC and IOS app are great for face impact location. You need at least 300 LUX. One can easily get a free LUX meter app on the phone to test the lighting in the area. It seems to be working well.
The frame rates of extra cameras is capped at 60. My camera has a frame rate of 120 so I hope they can change that to allow for better FPS. One could use Kinovea as a way to capture their swing.
