Analyzing shot data

I understand that the new PC version of FlightScope makes it possible to export shot data, which makes it possible to analyze this data.

I wrote R10Analytics (www.r10analytics.com), a free program to analyse shot data from the Garmin R10 launch monitor in many different ways. I would like to extend that to support FlightScope shot data. For this I need exported data files such that I can find out what the exact format is and create an import mechanism for these. I need your help for that.

Please create some of these files, and send them to info@r10analytics.com, preferably with some information about your device and the type of session the data is from.

Hopefully a few of you can send him a .csv file of your sessions. Currently, I sadly copy/paste the data from my iOS sessions into a crude Excel doc, less than ideal. Would be great to upload session data and get back useful trend data for things like club gapping, and +/- trend analysis. I've checked out what he's done for the R10 and I know I'd love to have this for Mevo+

I'm ok sending data after they update the software. It's had a few issues with the first two releases. They did send us an email stating they hope to have it resolved in a few days. Until then I am not sure many of us are using it exclusively.

I'm with you there - I've temporarily gone back to iOS but bullish on the PC version for the long term.

The beta of Golf Shot Analytics (formerly R10 Analytics) is available on https://www.golfshotanalytics.com/beta. It can import csv shot files that you can export in the swing sessions in the PC version of FlightScope, and analyse them in all sorts of ways. Please give it a try and report any issues you find through the website.

Great work, and thanks for making this available. I downloaded all my session data and had a good play with the data.
Unfortunately for me, I have not been well disciplined in selecting the right club or changing the club during a session. I will be more disciplined with this going forward to get better analytics.

It's given me a few surprises and a few things to go look at.
