Can no longer use the Mevo+ longer than an hour and a half

Mevo+ stops working only an hour and a half into game play.
It's always fully charged before we start and plugged in when we play.
I've seen many others with unit that are getting around a year old with the same issue. I've tried different start up sequences and new batteries. Nothing helps. Pretty much comes down to (my opinion) that the included charging block and cord is not capable of charging the battery faster than it's used up. It really blows my mind that while being plugged in, it can't run forever.
We were playing 2-3 days/ week 18+ holes each time and now the unit dies around hole 7-8. To me, this is embarrassing and not worth my friends and family's time to come over to play. I'm concerned with all of the Mevo+ software issues lately and now I can't even play nine holes continuously.
I'm not sure what to do, go with a different LM??

When you say new batteries do you mean you replaced the internal battery? If not, you may need to replace the battery. I would try a different usb cable or power plug first. Maybe contact Flightscope support to get some more advice. Here is a thread on battery replacement.

My Mevo+ won't power on and I'm out of warranty. I had been having issues with it measuring spin (I was seeing all calculated spin) and was working with support trying to figure out what was going on. Then.. it just wouldn't power on. FS told me to "find the correct battery and replace myself. it's easy and like $10."

    Definitely keep us posted.

Mine is nearly 2y old on original battery and I gain charge when plugged in and using, even from 1%.

No tricks or special procedures, just plugging it into a #12 extension cord when it gets low.

My unit charges while I play. If I am using an external battery I get probably 4 to 5 hours. If I am plugged into an extension cord it will run and remain 100% charged so something is definitely going on with your unit. Have you replaced the internal battery? This is a link to what I believe is an exact replacement battery. Check the specs on your battery. My charging block went bad and I use a block that came with an iPad. Contact Flightscope on Monday and see what they have to say.
The Nitecore NL1835 3500mAh 18650 Rechargeable Battery is designed to power high drain devices such as tactical flashlights.

mine quit yesterday around 3pm central, went offline for a few minutes, then came back on but we had to restart TGC2019 as mevo didnt lose the connection because the calibration window still worked. It was TGC that lost connection. Starting to happen every weekend on sunday playing the Tours course (Bay Hill). Very frustrating

Hi, that link now goes to a 3600mAh "NL1836HP" battery. Is this one a suitable replacement to the discontinued NL1835? Thanks
