Optimal distance to ball and screen?

I’m just setting up my Mevo+ and trying to figure out best location for it. Has anyone found much difference in access with different distances from Mevo to ball (from 7 to 9’)? Also, what about distance from ball to screen. My screen is only 7’6” high so I can hit from 10’ without much issue on most clubs and don’t think I will move further forward but I could possibly move back another foot. I’ve tried a few drives and possibly getting better readings but not sure I’m consistent enough on my swings to know for sure. I do feel like my carry distance for driver is off by 20-25 yards though.

Most people play with the distances to best suit their setup. However, if you are like me and don’t have a consistent swing then I would go with the 8’ and 8’ that Flightscope recommends unless you have a high cub head speed. If so, then adjust the mevo+ position to allow for longer ball flight. Hope this helps, good luck

The more distance the better for ball to screen. I’m 7ft mevo to ball and 10ft and a few inches ball to screen if I could go further I would.

I’ve tried everything up to 13’ to screen with 8’ to Mevo. In the end it didn’t appear to make much difference although I did feel like I swing more consistently closer to screen ( just feels like a good distance). I’ve settled on 10’ screen and 8’ Mevo for now.

I mean no disrespect but could you perhaps be causing some of the issue because you don’t have a consistent swing? Since you say you seem to swing more consistently at 8 ft from the screen is it possible subconsciously you are afraid that you may miss it from further distances? Indoor swing syndrome is real, I know this because it’s affected my swing in the past.

Definitely a little of that but I hit enough good shots from further back to get a decent read. I’m sure it’s more accurate on the driver but it wasn’t enough to setup permanent because I don’t have the height for my wedges if am beyond 10’.
