I'm sure it's been discussed but has anybody found a solution to putting trouble with the Mevo plus? I have tried numerous things such as raising the unit to the height of the turf, moving it closer to the tee, adjusting the angle to less than 12 degrees, putting off the tee, putting 3 feet away from the Mevo, trying different balls, RCT and regular and putting a bump in the way so the ball bounces up. Nothing has worked. It might read one out of 5-10 putts. Doesn't seem to be a pattern for when it works. I don't see a setting on E6 where all putts are gimmies. Almost never misses any full shots, does have some trouble with short chips.

When you raise the mevo+ to the same level as the putting surface, is there a valley between? In the instructions, it says that the unit should be on the same level the whole distance between the unit and the ball. If not, maybe that would interfering. Something else that I was concerned about was how unlevel my floor was. My floor was tilted down, from right to left, and from tee to screen, up to 2.5 inches. I do not know if that would have affected the ability of the mevo+ to read putts, so I leveled it.
I have not completed my sim build yet to try it on putting, and am very interested what other guys who do have experience, have to say. I hope you find a solution.

I have a pretty thick hitting strip (Country Club Elite) and have the floor from behind the tee to the screen raised to the height of the strip. At first my Mevo was 2" or so below the mat and 9' behind the ball. I laid an 8' 2x12 board behind the tee with the Mevo on it to raise it to the same level and creating a sort of a runway. I also tried moving it closer at 7.5 feet away from the ball but I don't see any improvement. My floor is level.

I have found that blade putters give more consistent and accurate reads, every time a buddy uses a mallet putter it's about 30% no read. purely anecdotal, but it definitely has been consistent.Originally posted by digger View PostSo what are you finding that works best? I have some old putters I could try
