Cant Update Software on Used Unit

Greetings. I recently purchased a used simulator package and all my software says to update through the Apple Store, but when I go to download, it tells me that the original owner's account is still linked and I cannot update. What's the work around for this? Thanks.

First off, what unit do you have and what software are you trying to update?

I purchased a Mevo+ . All the original software that came with the unit (FS Golf, FS Skills, E6) are all indicating that there are updates. The E6 is only the basic version that came with the unit, no subscriptions. When I log into the Apple store (under my log in), I go to download the updates, but it switches to the original owner's log in and wants his password. I can't download anything. Im not familiar with iPads and Apple products, so I'm not certain what to do here. Is this an Apple or Flightscope issue? Thanks.

E6 license is permanently tied to that E6 portal account, so you'll need login info or will have to purchase a new license.

Should be fine for FS software though.

I can't use any of the functions on the Apple Store. Out of desperation, I contacted Apple Support and they informed me that the original owner has to log into the App Store on my iPad, log out of the App Store, and then it will let me log in. I'm trying to get up with the original owner to get this done. What a pain....
