  • Indoor Flightscope use

I sent back my Skytrak, it was missing too many shots, and could never get the Wifi to sync. I am considering the Flightscope for my indoor setup. I only have 8' from tee to net, however, Flightscop has told me that within a month, they will have an update which could allow accurate results from this distance. My question is, does anyone use this machine strictly indoors, or am I crazy to even consider it? Since I work until 5:00 most days, my golf course I live on is closed, and I do not have a chance to hit balls. I just want to pound balls into a net to groove a swing with good accuracy. Is the Foresight worth twice the price for the indoor setup?

There are a lot of us here using the hq with great results and very few negative comments. It is a bit of money, but in my view money well spent. Saving a bit today might cost you more in the long run.

Thanks for the info, I will check it out. Right now I hit into the pr20. Then I have another screen I roll down for movies. Is the HQ good enough for HD movie quality?

For us it isn't good enough to be the only screen in a theater room. But it's great for simulator use, I haven't seen anything better.

Unfortunately for me; my other passion is home heater and so I would not regiment the hq screen for watching movies. I think this all comes down to personal preference.

You guys must take your home theatre serious. What screens do you use for home theatre?

I do, and that is why I say it is unfortunate as it is easy to get caught up in all of that. my screen is from Stewart Filmscreen and it does make a difference. Remember that most theatre projectors really don't have a lot of lumens.
