    Club face impact

Hi is anyone having issues with the face impact for drivers and fairway woods? My irons are working pretty well but not getting any data from woods. Is there a solution I don’t know about. Have a ticket out for over a week with flightscope and still haven’t heard from them either which is very unusual! Thanks

I use an adjustable led photography light. When testing the brightness requirements I had it turned down for irons a bit, working fine. Then I tested driver and failed to get readings until I increased the lighting brightness. Now I don't have any issues with readings. It seems you need more lighting for the driver than you do for irons.

Do you mind sharing what light you purchased?

Sure, I purchased the following also with the intentions of using it for for video swing capture. I have it ceiling mounted, face on, a few feet away from the hitting area.

GVM 300W LED Video Light, CRI 97+ 5600k, 91500Lux@1m,Continuous Lighting for Photography

Thanks. Does it come with a stand or are you mounting on a tripod??

No stand or tripod, I just mounted a 1/2" rod to my ceiling and connect the bowens mount to the, works great coming down on you from the ceiling. Crazy bright when @ full power.

300W, wow that's a lot of light. I'm guessing you don't need near that much depending on its distance to the tee.

It is, only need it set at 15% for face impact. Although will need higher for video capture.
      Working...
