Mevo+ alignment to Screen

Does anyone have suggestions as to what device I can use to align the Mevo + perpendicular to the screen?
I have tried a laser but can’t get it to work. Tips and tricks and product advice please.

I use length of string. Have also used a laser level but string works fine.
