I think one thing to add about the Mevo+ and GSPro is that putting beyond 30 ft has still not been addressed. Putting works great for me under 30, but over 30 I now choose to just chip. So for anyone else just getting into GSPro and concerned about Mevo+ putting my tip is to chip from outside of 30 ft until that part gets addressed. Other than that Mevo+ paired with GSPro is a fantastic product and the constant GSPro updates things only keep getting better. I think TGC will no longer release any "new" simulator compatible products and the simulator software landscape will be led by GSPro for the next few years.. I do think the indoor simulator golf market has taken off in recent years and new LM's and Software are always being developed. It's a good time to be in this space for sure. Excited to see what the next 3 - 5 years has in store.

Do you still find that 12 degree tilt is the best for the Mevo+ and GSPro. I just recently got GSPro and was just curious if there is any recommended tilt settings.

How do you get the mevo to be at the same level as the ball if you use a hitting mat?

Unless things have changed it’s ok if the unit is lower than the hitting mat. The one thing you can’t/shouldn’t do it raise the unit up creating a valley between the unit and the hitting area. There are ways to line up/calibrate the unit if it sits below the hitting mat. You can refer to the mevo+ manual and also call FS support.

I got my unit in October of 2021 and still use it regularly. For my garage space with 8.5’ ceilings I just don’t think its worth upgrading to a camera unit since I can’t swing driver in there. Would love to try out GS Pro but btw the computer upgrade needed and the annual cost for an irons only setup it’s just no bueno for me. Mevo plus definitely has its limitations but it really is a great little unit.

Haven’t heard any rumors about new features coming to Mevo plus in 2024. Last 2 years FS has come out with pro package and face impact in January. Wondering if FS can squeeze a little more out of this 3+ year old hardware or if it is finally maxed out.

You don't need that much of a computer to run GSPro. I bought a used box off Facebook marketplace that runs full 1080p ultra settings at 82fps for $500 Canadian. Just have to watch for deals.

Anything with a reasonable processor and 1080ti, 2070S, 3060ti, or 5700/6700+XT GPU will suffice.

Good post, I have also had my Mevo + since the end of 2020 with use outdoor into a net and at the range, this year I'm building a garage sim room, just hope i can make it work with the space, yes i have also found it very accurate when using the FS and Awesome Golf software for practice, checking my numbers against Trackman and GCquad I use during lessons. as you have stated setup is key to getting good results, I truly think I will struggle as I will only have 10ft of ball flight when I move indoors, I have 15ft just now into a net without issues. I want to make sure it reads correctly before jumping into GSpro.

It's pretty accurate. I grabbed two cheap (1100 and 743) GC2 on eBay and the spin and spin axis is much more consistent than the Mevo+ was, even with 11.5' of flight.

I've lost the club data for now but can't have everything. Hopefully an HMT comes up at some point. If not, EyeXO.

I just got mine built and started testing. I have 8 ft to ball and about 8.5 to screen and driver is quite low. I could move some things around and extend it another foot back to get 9.5 and move mevo back to 7 to get me 10.5. I plan to open my garage and put the mevo outside a couple of feet first though and test to see if the extra distance improves the driver readings or not. Irons have been pretty accurate with just the 8 ft to ball and 8 ft to screen. Part of my driver issue could also be feeling comfortable enough to really let loose and swing freely.

              Thanks for this write up!
I've been a long time owner of TGC2019....Had it with my ST and transferred it when I got my mevo+
I saw on youtube that with GSPro we can hook up a webcam or exputt to read putts there while the Mevo+ handles the rest.
              Have you tried that setup?
