Are you asking about hitting mats or strips that people use or are you simply asking about green firmness in general? Green firmness in general will depend on a lot of factors.. Is it baked out with no water in the middle of summer playing hard and fast like a PGA major or has it rained all week and the ball will literally plug when it hits the green. Lots of in-between depending on weather / soil / time of day / etc.. Ideal firmness would probably be subjective to each player. Do you like to spin it back or do you like one hop and stop. How much spin and what decent angle are you wanting the information for? If your looking to stop a 4 iron from 225 out the green is going to need to be pretty receptive.. However if you are talking about 100 yards full sand wedge with 8k - 10k spin the greens can be pretty firm and it will stop.

So I'm trying to figure out what distance I should be playing for when I'm hitting my hybrid.
Based on the Mevo+ numbers and messing around with the trajctory optimizer...I can see that I carry the ball 195 yards but on a soft surface it rolls out 4 yards but on a firm surface it rolls out 23 yards
On an average green, should I be playing my hybrid as a 195 carry and 200 total or 195 carry and 218 total?
For a typical green I would expect 10 to 15 yards of roll out from 195 carry into a green. Still lots of factors to consider, but I would plan on 205 to 210 total with that club. Also from 200 out the grouping is going to be + / - 10 yards even for elite players. Get a tour pro to hit 100 shots from 200 yards and his grouping circle will be 10 to 15 yard circle. Take an amateur player from that distance and you are looking at 30 yard plus circle grouping.
