  • X3 data representations in app and windows

    Hi!

I'm wondering if someone can help me make sense of this data and different representations in the app and the windows creativeve golf 3d client.

I connected the FS Golf app to the simulator and only got 3 data points. Ball speed, v-plane and h-plane. Although this raw data certainly is useful and also can be used to calculate other data points, I was expecting to see angle of attack, club path, face to path etc.

When I used Creative Golf 3d client, the ball flight is painted as a normal little push draw that I usually play, but the shot data is way off. See the attached screenshot. Why it shows data that would produce a big pull slice for my push draw I have no clue.

I've looked at the settings for the indoor setup and all values look fine to me. Even measured properly with measure tape.

Does any of this make any sense? Any recommendations on how to get better data. Am I using the wrong clients?

The x3 unit belongs to my local club so I'm not in complete control of software and config. Although I'm sure they will accept my advice if it makes the data measurements better.

Make sure you have the FS Golf set to X3. I think by default it's set for a Mevo+ and consequently a Mevo+ without Pro Package will only give ball data. X3's have everything unlocked by default. You should not be able to connect FS Golf and another 3rd party at the same time. At least it has not worked for me in the past.

It is showing the correct club data for a push draw. Your club path is 5.4 degrees right of the target line with a face-to-target at 3.1 degrees of the target line. I think the "Out-In" in green may be because it's set up for a left-handed player? Regardless, positive numbers are right of the target line, and negative numbers are left of the target line. Well, at least they should be. Likewise, it works the same for data like AoA. Negative would be down and positive would be up.
