    Flightscope indoor alignment

    Hi,

how do you guys align your unit indoors (or in indoor mode)?

I have screwed a metal rail to the floor, where I align the two feet of the unit against. I then used a laser distance meter to find the spot on
the net which corresponds to my target and put a broken club into the ground there.

Finding the spot was a bit tricky, as the laser distance meter is not exactly setup perpendicular to the unit.
However, If I assume that my laser dot is within, say, 2cm of the real aim in 720cm distance (unit to net) then
the angle of error is +/- 0,16°. I can happily live with that :-)

Put marks around stance mat to align. Done.

    Any ideas or comments?

    Sounds better than mine.

I just put a T-square on the face of my radar and eyeballed the pin that is projected in the software on my impact screen. Seems to work pretty good.

The tolerance of my actual stance to the ball and face angle at address I'm sure varies much more than the inaccuracy of my radar setup.

As long as it's close, I'd say.

Is it not possible to buy a mount for the tablet that fits xi, just as one can to X2, so you can use the camera in the tablet ???

Hi, note sure. I've seen an iPad mount for older Flightscope models. Problem in my case: the Flightscope is directly in front of a wall. so I cannot get behind it ;-) I sortof checked with an iPhone and a mirror.
