Bought a new Mevo plus 2023 last spring. I got it late enough that I only got limited use with it as I only use it indoors. I just now am getting back to trying it again and the battery is stone dead and doesn't take a charge. I figure it would probably be easier to just replace the battery instead of complaining to Flightscope. It's got a Nitecore NL2150 5000mAh battery in it and looks easy to replace. Will any 21700 battery work or does it need to be an exact replacement? Has anybody had similar issues?

I have the 2023 version of the Mevo+. They changed the battery. The link above is an 18650 format.
The one in my Mevo+ is a 21700 format. I ordered an 18650 from Amazon only to be disappointed when it arrived. Be sure to check what you have before ordering.
I don't know the answer to the original question. The exact battery is available on nitecorestore.com for ~$25. It was $100+ on amazon for some reason.

Do you mean that you placed a big battery (5000) in an old mevo unit?Originally posted by boungolf View PostI bought this battery for my Mevo+ i have the original version Fenix ARB-L18 3400 Battery | MEC. Works great.

If this is the case, did it fit? I think it is longer and wider, but don't know if it may exceed its room
