  • Xi Tour blue battery light / not charging

Hi all. New to the forum.

i have seen some posts about the xi units not holding charge. I think im in the same boat as my unit is red when plugged in for an hour then goes blue and doesn’t charge or change colour. Has anyone else seen this ?

Did you find a solution cause I got my XI tour yesterday and I have the same problem. It charges until around 60% and then turns blue and won’t charge further. The seller told me he hasn’t had the problem.

Batteries go bad. You can take the battery pack to a place like Batteries Plus and have it rebuilt, or if you're good with a soldering iron you can rebuild it yourself. You'll want something like this: Tenergy 18650 7.4V 5200mAh Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery 31005 - Tenergy

But I don’t feel like the battery is going bad cause I had no problem that is going low incredibly fast. I tried it with two different Batteries and had the same problem with both. It feels like a software error. I can normally charge it until around 54% and then the battery indicator light turns blue and doesn’t charge any further. It was the same point on both batteries.

So in my case the solution was that it was wrongly calibrated so I just had to fully decharge the battery and then charge it. Now everything works fine and the batterylife is still good.
