And I am not impressed. It was nice not having to line up a dot but other than that I can’t find a reason to justify the expense. The attached pictures shows 2 sessions with my 9 iron. The 1st is with a Kirkland 3 piece ball with a dot. The 2nd is with the Titleist RCT ball. Over all spin was less with the RCT ball. I believe I was more warmed for the second set (RCT ball) based on the smash factor number. This was the first time using the RCT ball and it definitely a small sample size so I will keep trying them. Also I will add that the Kirkland balls were not brand new and the RCT ball was.

So I Finally Tried RCT Balls……

Club speed is not the optimal way but it will marginally increase it. Strike location and spin loft is the best way. Lower strike higher spin. Strike location should be between grooves 2 and 5. If you strike the ball above the center of gravity of the club it reduces spin. Spin loft is just dynamic loft and the difference of AoA i.e. 42 Deg of delivered loft plus -6 Deg of AoA gives you 48 Deg spin loft.
Most common miss we see indoors is bouncing the club into the mat behind the ball. It actually lifts the ball causing a high strike reducing spin. If you don’t have impact location on your Mevo just use foot spray.

My wife bought me some RCT balls for Christmas. I like how I do not worry about the sticker, but they are very pricey.
I used only a sleave this winter but will never let a guest use them.
The results for me were the same with the sticker or the RCT no difference.
Plus I'm not a golfer that's trying to be the top golfer on the Amateur Tour.

So I tried again today, 9 iron 4 session with 15 shots from each. Anything with a smash factor below 1.28 was deleted. Again not very scientific and not a large sample size and add in I am not the best ball striker. The Kirkland and RCT spin numbers were a bit closer today than last time and I added ProV1’s and ProV1x’s.
Kirkland 5659
ProV1 5818
ProV1X 6202
RCT 5261
Some people have the RCT balls make a huge difference but I can’t honestly say the same. Perhaps there are other factors which I am overlooking because I am not adept at “breaking down all the numbers”.

6k spin with 9i? What loft? I'm nearly 9k with 44° and proV1 or Z-star.

bubbtubbs I am swinging callaway rogue irons, the 9 iron has 39*’s of loft. I know the PGA tour average is around 8700 according to the charts I looked at and like I said earlier in the thread I don’t expect to come close to those numbers. My swing is a work in progress so hopefully I can raise the spin as times goes on.

Hi, I've had my Mevo + for over 3 years and the only difference between using a ball with a dot and an RCT is only to save lining up the dot, the RCT was developed for use with the Trackman in a short indoor environment as TM didn't use dots on the balls and the units struggled to read the correct spin, hence the RCT was developed and it can be used with other radar based units.
