I purchased a MEVO PLUS unit in mid-2022 for my garage simulator. At the same time, I signed up for the E6 expanded annual software subscription. At the same time, I also purchased My laptop to use with the E6 for my garage simulator which is a “Asus TUF Gaming A15”. Plenty of storage and a big enough processor to run 4 more games on the same laptop. My laptop is connected to my home Wi-Fi via a router that is about 2 feet away from the laptop and the MEVO Plus is connected though a AC1750 dongle that is about 6 feet away from the MEVO Unit. Max Wi-Fi signal strength on all components. Absolutely no issues for the past 2 years and it all has worked flawlessly with this setup. I have played literally hundreds of golf rounds of E6 golf with my friends with Zero issues. I recently purchased the TGC 2019 package to test it against the E6 software. Initially I thought it worked out great, but with TGC2019, the MEVO unit randomly drops the radar signal and won't reconnect, and instead of the radar status on the MEVO showing “RED/Ready to use” the radar indicator shows “Green/Standby”. I can let it sit for 2 hours and it never goes back to red. The only way to go back to red is to completely shut down my MEVO and my Laptop and completely restart everything and then we lose all progress on the games we were in. We have tried playing multiple courses on TGC 2019 and get through about 4 holes before it locks up. Same with the driving range, it just randomly loses radar………but if it sits idle with no use it never loses the connection. I let it sit idle on the driving range for 28 hours one time and it was still connected when I came back. It only loses the radar signal when playing. I then went back to the E6 (as the subscription is still good for 6 more months) and absolutely NO issue with losing radar connection and locking up no matter the timeframe of use or idle time. I can’t believe it is my laptop or my Dongle or router. What am I doing wrong?
