Connecting to Mevo+ and Getting Online Simultaneously

Hey all finally up and running with the Mevo+ and TGC 2019 and getting off the ground. Looking for help connecting the Mevo+ to TGC while getting online simultaneously. I can't do one or the other and play a round while connected to the LM. Also I do not have access to hardline ethernet to the pc with the setup being in the garage. I'm sure it's something small I'm missing. Thanks!

Hi,

Not too difficult to do. Understanding you don't have an ethernet connection available and you use your wifi connection to connect to the Mevo+. The easy solution is to add a USB wifi dongle. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...H?ie=UTF8&th=1 this is the one that works. When you connect it to your PC you will have a second wifi available and you connect one to the Mevo+ and the other to your wifi access point.

My advice is to make the dongle exclusive to the Mevo+ connection and select connect automatically, and NEVER use it to connect to your wifi access point. This way your PC will connect to the internet with its "regular" wifi, and the dongle will connect to the Mevo+ whenever it's turned on.

I‘ve tried the usb wifi dongle, after a reboot both wifis were connected to the „internet wifi“, even though the internal
one was never connected to the internet wifi, only to the flightscope wifi. Windows 11, never could solve it.

had to finally fix it via network cable.

Yep, Windows tries to be helpful, but isn't always. I've used a couple different PC's with the Mevo+, a Win 10 and Win 11. I have been able to get each wifi adapter to connect to the designated network automatically by checking the " Connect Automatically" box on the desired network for each adapter. If it connects to the wrong network I go to Start > Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks, then select the network you want to remove and click "Forget" next to it.

Sometimes the Mevo+ loses it's awareness of the connection and shows the orange "Connecting" when that happens I close and restart FS Golf 2.0 and all is good again.
