Flightscope Windows video processing time with USB camera

    Hi everyone,

I upgraded my Flightscope Mevo+ indoor sim with two OV4689 cameras. Works like a charm, but the video processing time is super long. I used two older iPhones before, and the videos were there in a couple seconds, maybe 2-3. Now, it takes about 20 seconds until the video playback starts. Is that normal? What’s the reason for this? Easiest way to speed this up? Would have expected that it’s processed at least with the same speed, but not 10x slower. How fast are your usb cameras?

And just like that, both cameras do not appear in Flightscope anymore. They work inside the windows camera app, but Flightscope doesn’t recognize them. Any idea what that could be?

I've used USB camera with FS Golf 2.0 but have since stopped and moved to Kinvoea. FS Golf 2.0 has been generally flaky and is, in my experience, more flaky since the last update. The video processing is simply 200% better in Kinovea.

My best guess on the cameras disappearing in FS Golf is that they are being "used" in Windows somewhere else. My experience is to not start the cameras app in windows at all. Simply start FS Golf, enable the cameras in the cameras settings and start swinging.

Are you running Kinivea at the same time as FSG?
