  • FSX - login to My Performance every time?

Every time I start FSX it has the generic Player 1. I have to edit the player and login to My Performance every time if I want it to save my data to the cloud. Is there a way to create a default player?

I know this is annoying. I've wondered the same thing.

I agree this is a pain.

Anyone with the fsx minor update from a month or so ago chime and and say if this was fixed. I have 2.0 from early march. Some said there was a 2.1 or some sort of minor update.

Thanks - anything new feature wise in the fsx update or is it all behind the scenes bug fixes?

Jeez... Glad I didn't get FSX. I was just about to pull the trigger. The numbers on e6 and the GC2 don't exactly match, so I wanted FSX solely for the driving range and ball data. That login issue would annoy me to no end. Do you guys close the program and or shutdown the computer vs leaving it open and putting the computer to sleep?

It isn't that big of a deal really. You don't have to login. The only benefit of logging in is it saves your data to the cloud. I tend to shut down my computer, but if you just put it to sleep and leave FSX open then you would not have to login again.

Ok, thanks Bama. I only occasionally shutdown my computer. The whole purpose of FSX would be for me to save the data. Can you save the data locally, in addition to the cloud? An easy export to excel perhaps?

Yes. You can export to a PDF or to a CSV file (which can be opened in excel).

Ok, csv is perfect. Thanks again!
