GC2, GSX, ProTee Interface, and TGC problems now that I've upgraded to Windows 10.

Guys. GC2 and TGC have been working reasonably well for me over the last year. Last weekend I upgraded my PC to Windows 10 to take care of some issues I was seeing outside of the golf sim itself. I also upgraded to TGC 3.0. Windows 10 fixed my other problems, but now my TGC 3.0 simulator isn't working. It's not bluetooth and it's not port settings -- I can connect in GSX and my ProTee interface is showing shots recorded every time I swing. The problem is that TGC is not seeing the shots from the ProTee interface. My TGC license appears to be fine as I have the green lights across the board at the startup screen in TGC, and I can start the server and start TGC application. All appears to be fine. I have poured through these forums and found some similar topics -- Windows 10 issues -- and have tried all the advice, including running these applications as an administrator. Nothing seems to work.

I have been reaching out to ProTee support all week starting Tues AM. One email after another after another. I've called every day early in the morning to reach them during Amsterdam business hours (I'm in Wisconsin). I'm GETTING NO RESPONSE AT ALL FROM THEM!!!!! Nothing. For the most part, forum members have all been extremely complimentary of ProTee's technical support. I have to say I'm not right now!!! I would love to get somebody to quickly remote into my computer and tweak a few settings and get me up and running. But I can't get ProTee to respond.

Does anybody on this forum have any advice for me on either (1) the problem itself, or (2) how to get ProTee's attention -- NOW?? Is there a special "Bat Phone" number you guys call? I'm just calling into their main Amsterdam number and dialing "2" for technical support and getting put on hold with the music and then I get the "we can't take your call" response and then the beep. Then I send yet another email to support@protee-united.com on top of the other ones in my request # string.

    Any help is appreciated!!!

Protee was at the PGA show this week. Likely a little busy there. My PC updated to 10 on it's own. I couldn't get TGC to work either. I removed 10 and it works great again.

There is a couple firewalls in Windows 10 that need to be disabled to get this to work

aeroburner ^^^^whathe said s. Try simply disabling the firewall and see if it works. If it does, then that's your problem. Possibility #2 is you managed to install protee interface 3.10. It has a bug and nothing will launch. Download 3.10D (make sure it has the D suffix). It should work then.

Thanx everybody. ProTee ended up helping me out remotely from Orlando on Sat AM. It was indeed my anti-virus/firewall software (Avast) that was the problem. Up and running. Now!!
