GC2, TGC, Protee interface, GSX

I recently got a GC2, works great, but am a little confused with the connection. I was trying to start the protee interface yesterday and it was asking me for a license key. I have a license for TGC, which I inputted in the TGC Server console.

From what I gather, the connection goes like this:

1) Bring up ProTee interface
2) Start GSX
3) Start TGC Server

Does this sound correct?

Do I have to have a protee license to start the protee interface though? That license would presumably be separate from the TGC license?

correct on that send protee support an email and let them know what you are doing they will get to you

If I already have a protee interface and TGC license thru my purchase of a protee system, would I need to purchase anything more if I decide to buy a used GC2 to run TGC. Would the existing license just work with the GC2.

You would need to contact protee support to transfer your license from protee to GC2.

You can usually get GSX from Protee support folks for free (might even be a download link somewhere here in the forums). The Protee license should be included in the sim software when you get it to use with a Protee sensor (which I believe is part of the TGC purchase). For other software like TruGolf E6, it may cost extra if you originally bought the software to work with a different sensor other than Protee and want to switch over - but I don't think that's the case with TGC.

But no, nothing from Foresight. Foresight doesn't even support the connection, it's petty much all a Protee managed project as I understand it.
