    FSX Scoring issue

    Just wondering if I am Missing something here

    I shot a 79. It shows an 88 score and a +17. Why?

    I also see it doesn't count drives off the fairway towards your averages/long drives or count drives that land on the actual green. I had 287 and 291 yard carry drives land on the green and the summary does not represent that. I know its not exactly important but it doesn't leave your a proper overview of your round as is currently.



    On a positive note I really enjoy the skills challenge game!

    My "My Performance" section shows my last 12 rounds as "0 holes played" with no scores - yet it shows me the "best shot" video. It doesn't even tell me which course I was playing... just the date.
    How can I have a best shot if I haven't played any shots?! Most of those 12 rounds were complete - and a couple were 13-15 holes when I was playing Match Play with my mate.

    The ones from before that correctly add up my scores. I have no idea what's going on?! I contacted Foresight about it at the weekend, as I really want to know which courses I've played and how I scored so that I can try and improve next time.

    I did have to downgrade to V2.3.0.0 a while back, as there is an issue with BT connectivity in V2.4.0.0. I wonder if this is where it all went wrong?!

      I have been running 2.4.0.0 without any issues at least

        Is the issue with BT that it takes a day and half to connect? I don't recall seeing any issues with my scores. I did use the auto putt on all of them I think. BTW, I don't think v2.3.0.0 supported posting to the performance site so that maybe your issue?

          You are correct on both accounts!
          My BT took forever to connect. I could connect by USB, but BT would never connect in FSX. As soon as I downgraded to 2.3.0.0 it connected within 5 seconds.

          Having spoken with Foresight today, they have advised that V2.3 only posts data from IMPROVE, and not from PLAY. V3.0 is due out at the end of the week - although this is not a guarantee!

          Another thing I got from Foresight today is that holding CTRL and pressing F1 enables FREE ROAM mode - which lets you see where you see where your ball is. Hopefully that'll help when the ball is stuck behind a rock!

            Oh, CTRL and F1! Why didn't I think of that? LOL Huh, my touchscreen doesn't have a ctrl or f1?..... Still, at least there is a way. Might have to play with some voice control software to make that easier.

              Mine neither - but I have a keyboard attached to the bottom of it!

                I was trying to use the remote keyboard app but FSX makes the mouse pointer dissappear when I use it.

                  well going from 2.4 to 3.0 is a pretty big leap. curious what all is in this update....

                    Yep I had the BT connection lag with 2.4 as well. They know about the bug and recommended I move down to 2.3 until they fix it which I did. My new quad coming this week won't have Bluetooth I guess as it connects via wifi.
