  • Issues with ball flight on GC2 with HMT

I recently got a GC2 with HMT and have been having ball flight issues. I'm comparing it to a x2 indoors. The GC2 says I hit a hook every time no matter what club data says or what the x2 shows. I have checked and double checked alignment of both units to make sure I'm parallel to the GC2 and hitting down the target line on the flightscope. I've used the putting method that everyone uses. I know my feels and know what kind of shot the club data should add up to. Any ideas or comments? Thanks

Where do you make contact on the face? I know indoors on trackman i often get straight or fade ballflight when i hit near the toe, when in real life this shot is a hook. (And GC2 shows that too)

It's hit center of face on the GC2. I know GC2 can detect gear effect vs others . It says wedges are 20 yard hook and drivers as much as 60 yards. Not sure I could hook a wedge 20 yards if I wanted.

If you are getting excessive side spin then I would expect to see a a big difference betwen your face angle and your club path. If you club path and face angle are tight then there is something going on with gc2. THey work independily of each other. GC2 just measures teh ball and HMT the club.

Post a screen shot of the club data screen in FSX

Ok i see. (never easy to know someones level of knowledge on the net)
Maybe it got banged in the mail or something if it were shipped to you? Maybe do a tilt calibration? Just to clarify, if say you have a zero path and open face on the hmt data you still get a hook on gc 2?
Let me know if you need the tilt calibration? Remember that the unit must be placed on a very even surface before you run it.
