Video swing analysis versus club data

If one has ball data (i.e. GC2) can game improve further with videos swing analysis camera/software versus HMT, GC4?

This is what Ben hogan never said ' I could never have won all those events without the help of trackman and gc2' . A trackman would register perfect ball data but not your crappy unrepeatable swing. Video will enable you with a better swing imo , but even Ben didn't have video, he just watched what his ball did, maybe that's the best ball data, your eyes!

I find the gc2/video swing analysis combination to be very helpful. With video you can see swing path. I can generally feel if I hit heel vs toe. Plus I can't afford hmt.

I didn't think video cameras came out til the 70's. And read that hogan said he wished he had the access to video taping equipment like they do these days when interviewed in his last years. Sure they had film cameras, but nothing they could repeatedly film and analyse.

I second this! I now use V1, but have also used MontionView. Both are great, but V1 Home version is free (I think). I use high speed USB live capture cameras to transfer live video to my PC. I often set it up on my PC screen with TGC or FR1 on my projector screen.

Didn't finish last post. . . I have GigE interface for camera so can run software on same PC as my fr1. Since can't put fr1 in window mode appears not possible to use v1 or motion view.

I guess I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you wanting to put the V1 screen on top of FR1 on the impact screen? I don't do that, but you could. You could minimize V1 and shrink it down to place in a corner on the screen. I use FR1 on the impact screen and V1 on the monitor screen. I have a dual display and extend the desktop over both displays.

I have a dedicated PC in which I run my motion view and use my camera. I would like to see my swing video on my impact when I am using fr1. How are you able to display your swing
video on impact screen while concurrently using fr1. Thanks

You can't if you're using a dedicated PC that's seperate from the simulator PC.

The best I can do with V1 and Fr1 using simulator PC and impact screen is the following: a) open up V1 and hit record button; b) open up fr1 - when I do this V1 goes away; c) I hit my shot; d) hit alt tab and v1 shows up - when I do this Fr1 goes away; d) hit stop record button; e) review swing.
Do you know away to keep V1 on the screen at the same time fr1 is on the screen? It is cumbersome to do these steps for one swing recording.
