Do I need FSX for GC2 - Want to move up from Optishot

I found a shop today selling a GC2 unit with FSX as a seperate item. If all I wanted to do was to play the courses on TGC , do I need the FSX software?

Is there any other licenses involved when buying a GC2?

I've hit on my optishot once and I'd like to upgrade and don't think I can handle the delay of Skytrack.

Please excuse my incorrect use of the acronyms, I'm still getting familiar with the options.

GC2 finally on it's way from Foresight....new Alienware Laptop delivered today.....TGC installed. Can't wait to start playing!
