I wonder how hard it would be for Protee to integrate HMT data into The Golf Club.

I Have been using my HMT with the foresight Ipad performance app or Fr1. I would love to have the hmt data fed to TGC.

The HMT data is transmitted via Bluetooth, so I think it should be pretty easy. What do you think @protee, is this something that you can get on the "to do" list?

+1 on that. ProTee Dennis , can you make that happen?

There's history here. ProTee tried for a while and made progress but there was like 2 or 3 people with HMT then. There's another issue in that it will slow the shot to show time. There's another problem. Although the GC2 works somehow with TGC, it's unsupported and ergo setting up HMT integration may not be likely.

Another option is FR1 via USB running along with TGC.

I would second this, I don't have an HMT yet, but I would love to see this integration.

Maybe we should start a roll-call tread to determine how many folks have, or are in the market for an HMT and would love to see the continued effort with TGC integration? Aw heck, I'll do it!

With all due respect Mthunt, I'm not sure that I agree with any of your reasoning.

            1. Show time. Not sure if you know how it works, but all calcs are done onboard the GC2. All that is sent via BT are the data tables. This process should not be any longer because it doesn't take GC2 any longer to generate the data with the HMT attached.

Accordingly the data table would transmit to TGC at the exact same speed. At that point, TGC just takes the data from the data table sent by the GC2 and enters into it's algo's. This will not slow up today's computer.

            2. GC2 Unsupported So GC2 is not "technically" supported by Protee and I understand this. If the logic is that they don't support it, so they will more probably than not do anything with HMT data, then that same logic should have applied to the GC2 integration and we would not be enjoying GC2 on TGC today.

            3. Limited number of HMT users I could see them tabling the project early on in the HMT's life cycle due to a limited audience. Now however, I think that there are far more than 2 or 3 users of HMT right now. AND if Protee wanted to charge a one time development fee to have the information integrated, I for one would pay a reasonable fee to have a non hodgepodge system where I could see all of my data in one place.
