    FR1 issues - Ball distance below 10'

    Great forum here. Could get a lot of information and my simulator is slowly getting better and better.
    I got FR1 used including the dongle. I have an apple macbook pro running in bootcamp. Could install FR1 and run it. When I am on the driving range I hit the ball and you can see the trail. But 1s later the ball jumps actually back 'in front of my feet' and it shows a carry distance of 30 yards and a total distance of about 5'. this happens on every shot except one time I hit the ball very thin and it rolled about 100 yrds.
    When I disconnect the GC2 then the display is showing correct numbers.
    Is apple and boot camp the problem or am I doing something wrong. Any help is highly appreciated. thank you.

          That is weird looking. In regards to horsepower i'm using a pretty crappy little laptop with FR1 with zero issues so I doubt that is the problem ,the bootcamp issue is more likely imo.

          I would recommend;

          1. Uninstall FR1
          2. Running CCleaner to clear up all the extra bits.(unsure if this utility even exists w/ mac or if they do a better job of removing files after uninstall , mac noob)
          3. Reinstall FR1

          See if that fixes the issue.

            I did clean all up. Same thing. I wanted to download the new driver from foresight but I am ending up on a hightail.com website?? Where can I download the latest driver and firmware for GC2? Thank you.

              Sounds like the old version of foresight components and possibly the old version of fr1 to me. Hightail is foresights file hosting site. Download that file. However, I don't think it's a driver I think it's foresight components / version of fr 1. I think the new version is required to work properly on windows 10.

                Stingreye, I am also thinking that it is FR1 issue. I have the dongle. Can I download somewhere a newer version of FR1? Thank you

                  I would PM mthunt your email and ask him for the latest/stable version of the firmware, he's been pretty helpful in the past.
