hi everyone. as anyone been able to link GC2 to e6 1.6. sorry a little new to this stuff and notice the e6 demo was out and wanted to try with my gc2 but launch monitor is not in the list when i try and configure.

Hi marino,
You need the protee interface, which comes with GSX, when you buy the Golf Club. The protee interface is where you can set up the reading to output to the E6 software. I believe you hit Alt E in the protee interface and change E6 to True instead of False, Also, in the main settings screen you have to turn TGC off. I use FSX, E6 & TGC. I would say E6 is by far my favorite! -
thanks for the feedback friend. i just got my gc2 so no other software. was going to purchase JNPG because its similar to E6 with all the game modes. thats why i love E6 so much and what is lacking in TGC. so for sure if i want the E6 to work i need to buy TGC right. was hoping to avoid this but guess i cant.

Unfortunately, you can't use E6 unless you have the Protee interface. I do love all the features of E6 and the graphics are really great in my opinion! I don't have JNPG, but graphically, they look very similar. I have heard nothing but good things about JNPG gameplay and ball physics, but I like to own the software instead of $250/year. I inquired with them and you cannot buy JNPG, only offer a year subscription.
I wonder if you can buy the Protee 2.0 course disc for on sale through protee united for $375.00. It gives you 100 red chain courses and I would inquire if it comes with the protee interface. Pretty sure it should, but I would contact Protee to confirm that it would come with the interface and GSX. Somewhat a workaround if you wanted E6. Also try Par2Pro....they might be able to offer suggestions.
