  • Calibration Tool for GC2/HMT

Hey guys - Just bought a GC2/HMT refurbished and I'm having some issues with it. I feel like the club data I'm getting is very heavily skewed to the left about 2-3 degrees. Club path is reading around 2-3 degrees more inside out then it should. I'm comparing with Trackman.

I've done all the regular things, made sure it's on a level surface with the hitting surface. I've played with the alignment for hours using a putter to try and get it aligned. It's almost like when I get the GC2/ball data aligned so that it's spot on with the push/pull then the club data is way off and giving much more inside out so that if I wanted correct ball data I would have to skew the alignment off.

Does the GC2 calibration tool calibrate the HMT as well ? My only thought was to try and run the calibration and see if that fixes it. Otherwise I'm stuck dealing with Foresight.

Does anyone have a copy of the calibration tool they could PM me?

    Thanks !

The GC2 self levels. Doesn't need to be level. The calibration tool sets its level. PM me your email. I'll send it.

So I tried out the calibration tool and no difference.

Anyone have any other suggestions. Just to re-iterate. The GC2 data I believe is pretty accurate. I have everything aligned and parallel. I don't think I'm getting abnormal azimuth data or push/pull. The issue is with the club data it seems to be way too inside-out and too closed face. This is with everything, full shots, small chips and even putts.

I've had other people try and I've compared to Trackman. My next step is to speak with Foresight, but just wondering if anyone has had this issue at all with the HMT.

The later models cannot be calibrated only the early ones and it doesn't effect the hmt. How do you know trackman is correct, it can't see the face so the GC2 is likely to be more accurate.

Something similar is happening to me. The HMT missed all the shots unless I place the ball in the top left corner of the hitting area (the closes corner to the gc2), and when the HMT catch the shots the path looks skewed in to out. I have tried with the calibration tool but it is not helping so far. The GC2 is working lovely, just the HMT is giving me problems.

The HMT is bolted to the GC2 with a fixture arm. If either the arm is bent, the GC2 is not level or both, the HMT is incorrectly aligned relative to the ball hitting position..

I have been able to make the HMT work properly by downgrade the gc2 to the 3.5.1 version. I don't know way the 4.0 doesn't work for me.
