New cg2 user with distance trouble.

I am a new cg2 user. I am having issues with my shots coming up about 20 yards short. I am making sure I am swinging as hard as I would outside, and am using prov1 and prov1x real balls. I am very confident in my club distances. I don't know how to check the firmware but if someone tells me how I can check that. I just bought this refurbished from foresight less than a few weeks ago so I am sure it is the newest firmware. I am using an all turf mat super mat. A second question would be what reusable tees do you guys use that will work with the cg2. I break every tee in the mat. Thanks so much for any help guys.

Tees? Aerospark Neo tees are outstanding for Sim golf. Sorry can't help with gc2 questions, good luck. You're at the right place!

I think half of gc2 buyers find it short at first. You'll read a ton of posts about it. It's 99% of the time user related. Mats and indoors swings lead to shorter distance. Happened to me.

I second the mat and mental part of indoor swinging. I use a CCE mat and it's known to be penal on any shot that isn't clipped perfectly. The other aspect is flat out swing speed or lack there of when swinging indoors. It's a true phenomenon and it's real. Early on I would even see a difference in swing speeds when I would open my garage vs when it was closed. I'd swing much faster when it was open and feeling like I was outside. Could try a swing speed monitor on your clubs and see if it's lining up with the readings you are getting outside. It's crazy to think about but all I can say is it wears off with time.

Try taking gc2 to the range. Once you're hitting normal distances take note of ball speed needed for a few clubs to go the distance. Then monitor in your sim. When I first got mine I thought the same thing and that's what I did to figure out it was me. Now when my friends question their distances I give it a good whack with the same club.

If your mat moves during the swing then you'll be off big time. I just fixed my mat and have started swinging as if I was outdoors (the indoor mental thing) and it seems accurate.

When I get a really good shot in, the GC2 rewards be. Hit it fat and you are punished.
