Has anyone here made this combination function? I tried on my phone and I can connect with the gc2, but there is no shot data displayed. Wondering if there is a trick to making this work.

I have it working. I bought a cheap pad from Best Buy - their Insignia brand - just for the app since I don't have the 'a' unit. It is flakey and needs frequent restarts, but does the trick when I want a quick practice session and don't feel like firing up the laptop and projector. -
I am looking at getting the app.....is it still $50? Ipad app went from $50 to $free.
