GC2 - Setting up TGC and Creative Golf 3D

Hi Guys,

I've purchased a 2nd hand gc2 with foresight software. There is no Bluetooth with it.
What are my options to setup TGC and Creative Golf, is there a cheap way to do this?

Are you sure it doesn't have bluetooth? There are the "A" versions that have a serial number starting with A. These are Apple compatible bluetooth, but the other ones still have bluetooth built in and will work with your computer. You will need a bluetooth adapter for your computer. Some have them built in but the ASUS USB BT400 works very well with a USB extension cable. That way you can put the bluetooth adapter right next to the GC2.

This thread outlines finding the GC2 under the available devices and configuring it. If you try the ASUS adapter and your GC2 still doesn't show up, you will need to get the bluetooth repaired to use TGC. I had this done a couple years ago and it cost a few hundered dollars. Now Foresight charges a $500 registration fee to look at your used GC2 if you don't buy it through their refurbished program. I'm not sure if Creative golf can run off the USB cable.

I was told by the seller that he didn't think it had Bluetooth but maybe it does. I will have it in 2 days so I will know then.

It has Bluetooth but it may not work. To play TGC you need Bluetooth and foresight will fix it for a fee

I believe every gc2 has bluetooth. Just non 'A' verson cant connect with ipad. But every gc2 can connect with PC or android with bluetooth
