  • Gc2 calibration?

having some issue with my used gc2. Most my clubs are pretty close to my average carry. Except my driver...my 3 wood off the mat no tee is carrying 205. But my driver reading is round 190 and 200...total spins around 2100-3100

i have tried setup the gc2 at mat height and 2 inches higher. Same result.

my question is how level thof gc2 matter? Currently is just sitting on top of a piece wood is 2x6. I'm sure the board is not perfectly leveled with the hitting mat and not level with the floors. I don't have it connected to a pc, I'm just hitting balls into the impact screen.

It’s got a self leveling feature so that should make no difference. Has to be something else. Do you by chance have a white driver head?

No, it's a cobra f7. I think some how showing very high launch angle. Double of what I usually hit

The self leveling accelerometer function only works correctly if you run the calibration routine. It is used to store the offset in the machine when the unit is perfectly level. If your unit is a high serial number model then supposedly you don't need to run the calibration.

My serial number is 2200. How do I run the calibration? Any instruction or do I just make sure it's completely level with my hitting mat.

Before you run the calibration you make sure the unit is level in all axis using a bubble level or similar device. Whether your mat is level is irrelevant.

What you are doing is finding out what the accelerometer in the unit reads when it is actually level and storing these values for each axis.. After that it doesn't matter if the unit is level as it will sense it's actual tilts if any and compare to the previous readings recorded during calibration when it was level.

It had to be designed this way or it would be useless outdoors. If you don't have the tilt calibration software several people on this forum will be able to send it to you.

Where can I get the calibration software? Foresight?

I just purchased a used GC2 (A1***), with a new Super Flash installed. The issue I'm having is that every shot is reading at least 1K in L side spin making every shot read like a draw/hook. I'm a straight ball hitter, so I know these shot shapes are incorrect. I've raised the unit above the hitting mat, which helped decrease the side angle readings; however, the side spin is averaging 1.5K L. Any other info needed to better assess?

Can you send me the calibration tool?

                Give us some numbers.
Ball speed/ launch angle spin . Driver vs 3 wood. I have seen many people carrying their 3-woods longer than their drivers (due to more optimized numbers), but the driver usually rolls out more.

About what serial range is too high to use the calibration software? My serial is A5072.
