Just wondering if anyone has any good tips or tricks to get the GC2 aligned the best possible way when indoors? Thanks.

Didn't do this with mine... railroad tracksOriginally posted by Cklguy2013 View PostInteresting question, last week I had a lesson using the a flightscope and I took my GC2 to check the numbers. To line up with the flightscope it appears that the GC2 had to be aligned at the target and not parallel right of it as you would have thought. Has anyone else experienced this?

I tested mine with a Trackman too - it it had to be parallel to the mat.
The best way to check the GC2 is to place 2 alignment rods side by side, and putt a ball along them. The ball will travel straight. You can then move the GC2 until it's straight.

I always set up parallel. I've run it with TM, FS and ES at the same timeMy Courses:

I guess it depends on how the Trackman or others are aligned. My pro has his TM aligned with a target that's parallel with his mat. In TM4 you can use the inbuilt camera to choose a target.
Generally you do need the GC2 to be lined up with the target - but for most people, the target is paralell.Last edited by p3eps; 09-09-2017, 08:30 AM.
