  • How big IS the GCQ hitting area?

I'll be setting up my dedicated sim room in the next few months. I am in the process of mapping out the hitting area to determine how big an insert/mat I want to use. Because I am slightly limited on space I am hitting a bit off center with my driver but I like to move closer to the screen when I hit my wedges to minimize the chances of hitting the ceiling. I admit, this hasn't happened yet but moving closer gives me added confidence when hitting higher shots. I would love to be able to just set the GCQ in one place (if I get one) but still hit different clubs throughout the hitting area without having to move the quad.
Just curious what the hitting area on the GCQ is. I know it's rougly 6X what the GC2 is (current GC2/HMT owner). Where is the hitting area expanded on the quad? Is it in both directions? If the GC2 hitting area was roughly a 6" x 9" rectangle, how big is the GCQ? 18" x 27"?
I'm sure one of you GCQ owners has mapped out the expaned hitting area. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks all.
